Product design and development capacity is one of KALE's key engineering strengths at present. KALE's engineering team utilises advanced design and development techniques involving computer based simulation tools and computer aided design software such as CATIA V 5 R, Unigraphics and IDEAS. KALE's engineering team is structured to operate on co-design project development basis, involving collaboration with customers and project partners to design and develop projects in Turkey as well as abroad. A typical project development starts with an initial product design followed by design simulation & reviews, rapid prototyping and testing before final design validation which then leads to manufacturing of appropriate tooling and dies for part production. As an important part of tooling production CAM program is also utilised through CNC operated machines at KALE's in - house tool production facility.
